Mark + Melissa, Country fun in Golden, Colorado
Last winter, I had the pleasure of having Melissa contact me regarding wedding photos. They were getting married right here in Golden and I knew they would be a perfect fit when she told me more about their wedding day. They wanted a small wedding, in a small church and those they loved the most there to share in the day with them. They planned a beautiful wedding on a budget, complete with making their own colorful bouquets and boutineers that are *stunning* plus some great cowboy boots with gorgeous dresses too! Melissa's wonderful friends and daughter helped her to get ready for her big day and there were lots of smiles and laughs to go around while getting ready and after the ceremony in photos. Good friends are really the best.
Their ceremony took place at the Foothills Chapel and then we shot the majority of their photos at the Golden Historic Park, which fit their wedding style and personality perfectly. Take a look at the rest of their photos and share in the joy of their day!
Golden had its first dusting of snow the day before their wedding and there were traces of it left on the sunny day.
Melissa's daughter Holly was a big part of their special day -- love.
The whole morning, I didn't see any nerves from the bride or groom - just smiles and happiness -- had by all :)
I simply loved these bouquets, very much my style, bright and colorful -- they made these themselves too folks!
