Engagement Session photo shoot at the Clear Creek History Park, Golden Colorado

IMG_3986.jpg

Engagement sessions are so much fun and these two made my job easy; they looked great, came prepared with awesome props, and were good sports stomping around in a foot of fresh snow at the Clear Creek History Park in Golden.  They also happily accommodated me while I posed them 2 feet from a freezing cold and rushing river to get the 'perfect' final shots of the session that turned out amazing.

One of my favorite parts about being behind the camera, is that you truly see all the feelings expressed between a couple or family during a photo shoot.  Its easy to tell when two people truly love each other and it was clear to me that Jered is totally smitten with his bride-to-be, and the fun they had together came across on camera beautifully.   Check out the rest of the photos and see for yourself.

If you are interested in booking a spring engagement session or other portrait session, contact me to set one up and pick your date, weekends are filling up fast!

I love the old rustic cabins and the natural wood color which makes for an awesome backdrop.  On this snowy day the background almost looks like its fake, its so beautiful!

What a beautiful ring!  Jered picked it out for Connie all by himself, it was gorgeous!  Can you tell he only has eyes for her? :)

These two were SO much fun, I can see years of love and laughter in their future.  Guitars make for the best props too!

 Fun!

This is probably my favorite photo of the shoot and one of my favorite shots of all time, I just really love it!  They are so happy and in love, their smiles are genuine and it truly captures the 'moment', which is what I love about photography.

I can't decide if I like it better in color or in black and white.  What do you think?

 See, great props!

This background almost doesn't look real, but it was!   Thanks for standing feet from the river so we could get this amazing shot.

 The 'knot'...cute idea.
